tamale

ingredients


4 chicken


4 pork ribs


1 tbsp of cumin


onions


2 tomatoes


tbsp of sugar


tbsp of cilantro


vinegar


garlic cloves


olive oil


lemon


banana leaves


foil


2 boiled eggs


1 large choped carrot


green peas


string


Method


1. First chopped carrot,onions,and tomatoes.


2. Mix the chicken,and ribs with vinegar,sugar,cilantro,and cumin.


3. Now mix the chopped carrot,onions, tomatoes,green peas,olive oil,salt to the chicken and ribs.


4.Now to make the arepa use the following directions cornmeal,and fresh warm water mix together until it transforms into a dough.


5. Now time to put all the ingredients into one.First put the dough in the center of the banana leafs.Then put the chicken,and ribs on top of it. After start adding carrots,onions,tomatoes,sugar,the boiled cut up eggs, potatoe,2 tbso of hogao,green peas,cumin,cilantro, and finally add some dough on top to finish it off.


6.Now just closed to banana leafe together to form a close wrap, and just string the wrap a few times to keep it very closed. Now just put foil all around it to properly secure it, so it wouldn't fall apart while boiling it.


7. Now put the tamale in a boiling water pot, and leave it in there for about 3 hours, to keep it nicely cooked.


8. Once the process is done you are ready to serve it to guests or family members to enjoy eating this awsome snack.
